Hey - I just came across your post looking for something about crankiness and tiredness... I'm so sorry for your loss. I know she will be taken care of in heaven until you can hold her, and I know knowing that doesn't help much. I hope you are healing and are able to remember this little one and smile when you see your future children. Emily

Oh Angela. I'm so sorry you have to go through this anguish and heartbreak. My thoughts go out to your wonderful hubby as well. There is nothing worse than watching your dreams go up to heaven but I'm sure Baby Carpio was so thankful to be well loved in your tummy for the few weeks s/he was living with you. You will always remember your first baby and Baby Carpio will continue to watch over all your future bundles of joy up in heaven.

Take some time to rest. Please know that you did NOTHING wrong. I honestly can't blame you for feeling the way you do because it is COMPLETELY NORMAL. It's normal to want to feel blame and guilt but it's actually not your fault at all. Most times when this happens it's saving your baby from hurt and anguish in the future after he is born from some possible (unfortunately common) defect.

I really recommend some of the grief and loss boards on BabyCenter. They will have so many people there who have gone through the exact things you are going through now. Take some time, lots of hot showers - and we will all never forget Baby Carpio and the wonderful way you and Ed have been welcoming her/him to the world in the form of this blog.

Oh Honey! I'm so sorry about the baby. Hang in there. I will keep you and Ed in my prayers. The baby is probably watching above the heaven and seeing how lucky he/she is to have such wonderful parents who loved him/her so much.

Love,
Aysha
